Homage to Myanmar
Dhamma Pilgrimage Tour
with Alan Clements
10 Days /9 Nights – February 10-19, 2020
Take a journey into the heart of Burma. This will be my last trip for some years. This adventure will be challenging, emotionally, psychologically and spiritually, as Burma is a land of extremes, with intense poverty, staggering wealth, decades of civil wars, breathtaking expressions of love and generosity, sacred monastic silence and rivers of tears as the country celebrates the first rays of freedom, while undergoing a convulsive transition from overfive decades of dictatorship to the planet’s most newborn democracy.
We’ll meet the people mindfully, with open-hardheartedness and humility.
Please let me know if you are interested and we can explore possibilities. We will have a trusted guide (my friend) and I have also lived off and on in Burma both as a Buddhist monk and layperson for over 40 years.
I’ve always wanted to show others the Burma as I have come to know it – and introduce them to the people – many of them my close friends – and see the things they are doing that makes Burma perhaps the most sacred and compelling place on our planet (to me that is). And most of all, give back to the people. Support them as much as possible to help build their country.
If interested click here and fill out the online form. We will get right back to you. Limited to 10 people. If accepted we will send cost (under 2 k) and a link to make your $300 deposit.
