World Dharma Public Forum
You are invited to Zest Ubud, Bali Saturday May 11th from 3 to 6 pm for a special gathering with
former Buddhist monk, author, activist, performing artist, and retreat leader, Alan Clements,
known for his training in insight meditation and Buddhist psychology in Burma.
Alan will present at Zest his World Dharma Public Forum: “Reclaiming Freedom and Authenticity and the Totality of Everyday Life (a mindful intelligence training),” which will be followed by Q & A and discussion, along with a special emphasis on several innovative expressions of mindfulness meditation, as follows:
1) The yoga and meditation of speaking and listening as a transformational immersive art.
2) The yoga and meditation of eating and drinking as a transformational immersive art.
3) And the yoga and meditation of immersing oneself in the aesthetics of the senses.
Alan is known, according to the Maui Times as “the most spiritually astute humorist in America today.” As such, he has been performing his searing satirical solo performance piece, “Spiritually Incorrect” for the past 20 years to audiences around the world, in support of raising awareness of freedom of thought, speech and expression as the best safeguards against war, violence and genocide.
Alan and Zest are offering this immersive workshop experience for free to the Bali Community.
*Places are limited to 30 people.*
Please invite your friends and be sure to reserve your space in advance at the cashier at Zest, that is, if you want to be assured of your space. Otherwise, risk it but come early.
